We view worship as one of the primary purposes of the church. While it is ultimately for and about God, worship changes us in ways that cannot be described, only experienced. Our traditional Sunday morning worship service takes place at 10:45 a.m., while our Sunday evening worship service takes place at 6 p.m. A Pastor’s Bible Study takes place each Wednesday night at 7 p.m.
Our Sunday School ministry provides fellowship and Bible study every week for all ages. Classes for kids, youth, singles, married couples, separate mens and womens groups, and nursery are available. Greeters are available at every entrance each week to assist with helping guests find appropriate classes for themselves and/or each member of their family. Sunday School begins at 10 a.m.
Children and Youth
FaithWeaver Friends is our outreach program where pre-school and elementary aged children grow their relationship with God, each other and those in need. We have a comprehensive Children’s Ministry for kids of all ages. Weekly Sunday opportunities include morning Sunday School. Summer is full of additional activities for kids including Vacation Bible School and various trips and activities. Each Wednesday night we offer several informal offerings for all ages. From 6:15 to 7:50 p.m., pre-school and elementary age children can join our FaithWeaver Friends. We host a Youth Bible Study at 7 p.m.
The Library Ministry provides wonderful resources and services to the organizations and members. The library features a large collection of Christian based fiction and non-fiction books for adults and children. The library is located in the south wing of the church. The library opens at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday morning and at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday nights.
Music and Worship
Our Music and Worship Arts Ministry stays very active throughout the year. Our Adult Choir leads worship every Sunday morning. Our Youth Worship Arts Ministry seeks to help our students deepen their worship lives through the medium of the arts such as singing, drama, instrumental ensembles and video. Our Kids Worship Arts Ministry seeks to help our kids learn to be worshipers by developing various artistic skills such as hand bells, percussion, guitars and drama. Finally, our dedicated technology ministry serves in a support capacity to help all facets of our church’s ministry be successful. Our music department is lead by our music director Bryan Essary. Our children’s choir director is Bethany Streetman. We have Adult Choir Practice each Sunday night at 5 p.m. and Children’s Choir each Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m.
The purpose of our bus ministries is to reach others with the gospel by providing transportation to church for people with the need. Farmington Baptist Church of Corinth provides free bus transportation to anyone who needs transportation to church. We will be happy to provide a ride for children and adults alike. The bus arrives in time for our 10 a.m. Sunday School classes, worship service and remains until after the morning worship service (around Noon). We also provide rides for Wednesday evening. If you are in need of a ride, please contact 662-286-8855.
